Hi Jonathan,
Some tiny bit of dirt between the pins on the board?
I had a similar problem after I had been using a kind of soft PVC glue to
construct a programming cable. A small drop of this magic subsance found its
way to the pins 1-4 of my stamp.
Debugging worked fine, but it was impossible to download a program.
Try some cleaning.

Hi All,
Well, my veteran BOE refused to program today, on any computer. The Stamp
itself is fine, and continues the last program downloaded to it. The
computers both find any other Stamp setup I have OK. The serial pins used
all seem fine from the DB-9 connector to the Stamp itself, and the ground is
good. The caps test a little low, .08uF instead of .1, but that is probably
because they are mounted on the board and should be close enough anyway.
This board is well used but was working fine a couple of days ago. Any
ideas?
