Hello,
I am trying to interface the DS1620 to my basic stamp in order to
detect body temperature can someone tell me how I might proceed or
offer any tips? I am fairly a novice/beginner and do not know much
coding techniques. I plan on using this as a portable device...

There are quite a few references for using the DS1620 with the Stamp.
