Hello,

I'm a student working with a basic stamp kit. Is it possible to
incorporate a short distance radio transmitter with the basic
stamp. I would like to broadcast sounds generated by the stamp
to be recieved and listen to with a commerical Walkman.

Codeand hardware recomendations are welcome.

Thanks.

Robin

there are couple of things you can do. #1 some company makes a wireless
microphone for kids, i'm shure they sell those at kids-r-us, you could gut the
electronics out, take the mike off and wire it to you output leds on your bs
board, broad cast your "signal" through the wireless mike to your reciver/
walkman. #2, you might beable to find a fm or am transmiter to hook up to your
basic stamp and broadcast to your reciver/walkman.
this sight might help you with a scematic to build your transmitter if you want
    to go that rought:

if you want to do the wireless mic idea (probley your cheapest way) try
toys-r-us, radio-shack or somthing like that. I wont be able to give you a
schematic for hooking up the wireless mic, but i'm shure you would beable to
figure that out on your own.
I hope this gives you some ideas, i don't know if it will work for shure cause i
never tryed it, but it sounds good to me, in fact, i think i will try the
wirless mic thing out maybee...tuesday...if you want to wait that long, i can
let you know how it worked for me if you want to wait for some results before
    you try
any way, i hope this might help you out, or at least get you some ideas
