windows 2000 won''t identify my Basic Stamp2 chip

If your PC is a laptop be sure to set the comm port FIFO settings to
their minimum values. Laptop comm ports are notoriously tricky to deal
with and the reduced FIFO settings usually take care of problems like
these.

Couldn't find the chckbox you indicated in V.1.33 or V2.0.
i am calling the correct com port as if i connect just a stamp on a
board to it it
identifies it but not my stepper motor controller... but only on that
PC. Matt.
