Greetings!

The Interpreter program is stored securely in the BS2, but your program
is stored in an external EEPROM.
It is possible for someone to disassemble the BS2(desolder the EEPROM)
and read it out, but...
The program is stored in an tokenised form, and it's difficult to
reverse translate it.
(I won't claim that it's impossible, though)

Coating it with Epoxy may stop someone from trying to read the EEPROM,
but if you need better security you may have to write your program in
assembly on a 'normal' PIC chip instead of using a BS2.

:-)

Hello Stamp Programmers:

Can anyone tell me how sensitive code on the basic Stamp2sx can be
incorporated with a security code when compiled

to prevent copying....?

For example the Pic-Micro's, has provision to protect the original code
from copy cats.

Any information you can give me would be appreciated.

Thanks Harry.
