Bs2 and Ipaq

I have a mobile robot controlled by the Basic stamp2 and I would like
to add some image processing to it. I already have a Compaq Ipaq and
buying a webcam for it should solve the components problem.
But now the question:
Is it actually possible to use the serial port of the Bs2 like an
input port (during the execution of the program) so that the Ipaq can
send the instructions to it? If it is, please could you tell me how?

Sure. Just do a SERIN on pin 16 (programming port) and note that there
is an inverter so you'll have to select your baud parameter accordingly.
