help with psx controller interface + 1 more question

Thanks Jon, Finally got it to work, I used a controller extension
just like you mentioned, and figured out what pin went where using a
voltimeter set to continuity test. funny thing was that on my
extension cable, orange went to ground and yellow to 5 volts, while
the black cable was the psxdat.

I solder to copper boards to, but like to prototype everything to a
breadboard before doign any soldering of course.

Question: is there any way to activate the vibration function on the
controller that anyone knows of? is it just a command that has to be
send trough the cmnd and clock?

Thanks
Carlos

I've not been able to get the motors to work reliably using PBASIC, but
I haven't given up. Activating them is far more complicated than
reading switch and pot values from the controller.
