hi to all...first time writing here
im planning to buy 7 BS2 and 7 industrial boards
http://www.parallax.com/detail.asp?product_id=27965
to build 6 chicken bagging machines (1 for backup)
does anyone here have experimented some kind of
troubles with this boards? my fear is the
electromagnetic interference...an aluminium enclosure
may help to prevent it?

I have used these boards, and they're excellent. Never
had any problems with them. Drop a BS2 in them, and
away you go. Just doesn't get much easier...;o]

requirements, you might also want to look into the Stamp PLC (new product). It
is designed for industrial apps and has passed initial CE certification tests.
Here's the link: http://www.parallax.com/detail.asp?product_id=30064
I've been working with the Stamp PLC for the last couple of days and really like
it -- it's enclosed (no exposed electronics) and has (optional) A2D inputs.
That said, either product should work fine for you.
