Looking For Small LCD

I'm looking for a small LCD Module. I've got the Hantronix 8x1 Character
but I'm looking for something smaller. Like maybe the size of a wrist
watch. So far everything I find is fairly large. I need an LCD "Module"
(easier to interface) and I only need characters (numbers actually) not
graphics. 8x1 is fine, 12x1 is ideal, 8x2 is also good. Does anyone know
who makes such an item? It would need to be smaller than the Hantronix I
have which is 54mm x 37mm x 10mm.

Thanks!

Scott

Optrex makes a fairly small 8x2 LCD module; we use it in our LCD AppMod.
The module itself is about the size of a digital wristwatch. I bought
samples from Digi-Key; you can get details there.

    Jon,

    Optrex 8x2 (40mm x 35.4mm x 8.5mm)

That's the smallest one I've heard of so far.

    Thanks!

    Scott

They're easy to use too. Any of the code you find for HD44780-based
    LCDs will work with it.

Actually Hantronix makes a smaller LCD module that is a 16X2 and is only
40X20X6. The part number is HDM16216L. I have been using it for about a year and

    am extremely happy with it!
