I emailed parallax for them and they 'don't have that information
available' right now. Does anybody know where I can download them
from?
Thanks

Is it really hard to make one ?
In the few programs I've used, it is not overly hard to make a
schematic diagram of a chip.
or, I just use a chip carrier (chip socket) of the correct pin count,
print off a pin out sheet and connect away.
Dave
provide these since they've been in business so long.
Thanks

Yeah, that's what I ended up doing. It seems to my parallax can
provide these since they've been in business so long.
Thanks

Well, what do you guys use ?
lots of libraries are interchangeable. I think Protel and Orcad use
the same format.
Dave
I use OrCad and I have made up the Stamp 2 and the 40P units. It takes about
5 min with the parts editor, much less time than writing an e-mail.
If you want to use them for Spice Simulation then this wont work. I only use
the Capture product from OrCad.
I found a drew a box, added the pins, names, properties and Viola I had a
part.
I put all the IO on the right side and the process pins on the left. This
makes it easier to draw in a schematic.
I don't remember how to download to the attachment page.
I will send a schematic with both parts, if someone will remind me how to do
that.

simulation, however...no biggie...No need to send anything Alan, I
just created my own library and drew up the part myself, added the
pins..etc...and it works fine for just doing a generic schematic I
guess.
I just figured that since Parallax has been around for so long, and
surely I can't be the only one looking for a Parallax library, that
they would already have one?
Thanks again for everyones time.
