Hello out there, im very new to all this basic stamp and just receaed
my first stamp bs2 moudle... i was wondering if anyone could help me
out and trying to do what im going to use this for... my idea is
this, on a single cylender engine, im going to have a stamp run a
fuel injector to inject the correct mount of fuel into the motor at
whatever given thottle postion and engine rpm... the sensors that
will be inputing into the stamp are 1. a eletromagnet that well sence
every roation the engine dose to let the stamp know if the engine is
idleng at 800 rpm or going full speed at 5000 rpm ... the 2. secnond
sensor will be a thottle postion sensor mounted on the thottle body
so the stamp will know if the user is idleing the engine giveing it
some thottle or going full speeed... with those two sensors in mind ,
i figure though a set of charts that u could change (ideal so u can
tune the engine for correct air/fuel ratio) the stamp would calculate
the desired pulse width for the injector to open/close... there for
example if the engine was idleing the thottle postion would ne
netural (0% or so) and engine rpm would say be 800 rpm's then the
correct pulse width would be say 2% duty cycle, there for if the
engine were to be running full speeed with the thottle wide open
inputing the stamp a 100% thottle postion, the injector would then
change its pulse width to say 40% duty cycle and then build up its
rpm's... all the crank sesnor indicats is just the correct postion
where to poperly inject fuel so the injector isnt always inputing
fuel at the wrong time .....
if anyone could help me or write a test program outlineing how it
works id apperiacte greatly so far with my stamp ive made a bunch of
led's blink and do funny stuff heh, but im sure u gota start
somewhere right?? :)
