Parallax Summer Special: last chance!

Dear friends,

Erik put a "only four days left" banner across our BASIC Stamp Summer
Special on http://www.parallax.com <http://www.parallax.com/> This kit
has been a generous offer from Parallax so I'd encourage you to purchase
one of these kits for the following uses:

(a) as a holiday or birthday gift, for anybody aged 10 or above

(b) for students in a class - includes everything you need to setup
the course

(c) first-time microcontroller user with interests in learning

(d) any person needing another Stamp board

It's priced at $79 and normally not available as a stand-alone kit, but
if it were it would be over $140.

For the newcomer, it's nice to know that Andy's 244-page "What's a
Microcontroller" text has won lots of praise over the summer from our
educational customers. Andy has a methodical approach towards
introducing new concepts and uses all the right hardware in the right
order to make sure the projects move, make sound and interact with the
programmer. Our inner-circle of educators calls the text "Andy's book".

Internally we might cringe at the savings we've given our customers who
purchase this kit, but our intent has been to attract new customers to
our Stamp world at a low cost of entry. We're now in a backorder
situation, but I doubt you'd have to wait more than a week to get your
order. It's something as simple as a potentiometer that is keeping us
from shipping, but we've now got that little glitch under control.

Last chance to order is this weekend and here is the link:

The kit comes with free technical support, warranty and refund if
requested. Indeed, this is a sales pitch and I'm confident you'll feel
your money was well spent if you purchase this BASIC Stamp kit. I'd buy
one if I didn't work at the factory.

Sincerely,

Ken Gracey
