Greetings!
I just thought I should add that I view PDF files on WinNT and WinXP
PC's in the office, on EPOC (Psion netBook 'PDA') and an OS/2 PC at
home, and everywhere it looks EXACTLY the same..
Whenever I need to be ABSOLUTELY certain that someone can read a
document I've made on my PDA, I create a .PDF file of it(a third-party
'printer driver')
Of course, when people use weird fonts for no apparent reason, the file
tends to bloat, but then again, it just means I don't need to fork out a
lot of cash to buy 'WingWangSillyFont' so that I can read the file.
(Doesn't mean I approve of using silly fonts for no reason)
:-)

ECO,
The "bloated code" in a PDF file can include whatever original fonts are
needed to make the formatting appear universally accurate and is
non-platform
specific, certainly not just for Macintoshes. I'm not aware of any
readily
available alternative document type that will do this (most definitely
NOT Microsoft
Word!).
