Ok to parallel LM2940''s ?

You can't parallel two supplies that has ripples in it, it is unlike
batteries that has no ripples and does not puill down the outputs
when loads are connected already.
Better if you want a high current, use pass transistors, research
about power supplies or using abother IC's that can provide higher
current rating, check National Semiconductor's Website.
