Hi to all,

does anybody here have some experiance with that kind of equipment.
Idea is to build a unit with NMEA 0183 input and stepper motor output to
sterring device.
Any idea/drawings for electronic and mechanical parts.

Thanks in advance.

I think The Compass Module from Parallax will help, I guess the interface with
GPS could be a little complicated and the Compass Module gives the hard work
    already done.
The rest will be a small servo for steering and good luck... i have a sail boat
where i can test the idea next summer
    regards
