Voice recorder chip for BS2?

I have a need to incorporate a Voice chip in an upcoming BS2 app.
Does anyone know of a chip that will allow short, multiple, messages
to be recorded, and then be able to play them back based on a
specific DTMF input?

Thanks...

Jim, Years ago I purchased a voice record/playback from Radio Shack 276-1325
ISD1000A. It worked just fine. The one I had was a 20-second. You can address
segments of different time lengths using addressing. It used a bare amount of
outside components. I'm not sure if they carry that chip anymore. JAMCO carries
a variety of chips. Index of catalog look for Voice recorder chip. You can
cascade chips for extended times. They should have a data sheet on their web
site to download. It's fun chip to use and not expensive. Hope the info helps.

Parallax has a Sound Module tht will record and playback. I don't know its
capacity or about triggering with DTMF.
