ADC recommendations?

Hi All,
There are so many ADC's out there that I am having trouble figuring out
which I should get. I need 8 channels, 12 bit, 5V reference. I would prefer
Maxim chip, especially one that someone has a code snippet for :-)
Thanks,
Jonathan

Thanks, I'll give it a try as I don't want to wait for free samples or pay
for them :-)
I have found one source of code, do you know of any others?
Thanks,

Thanks, I'll send away for some samples, but since I can't wait 3 weeks to
work on this project, I'll buy the tlc2543 and see how that goes.

I think I saw another example in one of the stamp books - not sure though.
Been a long while since I was looking.
Forgot to mention, the TLC2543 has 11 channels - 3 more than you wanted -
now you'll have to wedge three more sensors of some sort into your project!
