hey everyone,

I have my bob-III hooked up as is says in the .pdf
(http://www.decadenet.com/bob3/B3ApGuide.PDF). the data-in and data-
out are jooked up to my bs2sx. the grounds of the stamp and bob3
power supplies are hooked together. I have the bob3 video-out plugged
into a "Sony Video Walkman Mini DV", with the wire ground connected
to the common pin. I have pin 3 with 5k (2 parallel 10ks) resistors
to pins 12,13, and 14 (as shown in the pdf). I'm trying to
communicate with the bob3 vie serout and serin commands from the
bs2sx at 9600 baud, inverted ("inverted" gives me the limited
functionality described below, a "true" serial setting causes a never
ending serin[wait("{")] to occur).
I've tried sending reset commands, cursor position commands, text
to be displayed, etc. and nothing ever appears on the video screen
(I've tried changing coordinates of where the text is displayed too).
Via the serin command, The stamp receives "{" and "?" after I send
commands via serout. However a never ending wait occurs when I wait
for a combo of the two: "{?". Which is kind of weird. So that's where
I'm at at the moment. Any suggestions? Thanks!
