Parallax ROM emulator model I (27256) cable needed

Hello,
I have one of the old Parallax ROM emulators - Model I (27256) which
can emulate the 2766, 27128, and 27256. It has a Dallas DS1230Y chip
on board to store the image. There is a 28 pin cable on one end and a
6 pin modular connector on the other. I have all the software and
docs that came with the board.
Now here is my question. The cable used to download the code from the
PC is missing. It is a DB25M to 6 pin modular cable. I tried calling
Parallax but they no longer have any information on these since they
were made around 1991. Also, web searches did not turn up any useful
information.
Does anyone else out there have one of these??? If so could you check
your cable? I'd like to know if there was anything special inside or
if it would be easy to get the pinout and make a replacement.
Thanks,
Robert

I have an earlier version 1989 2764E, but I would think that once the best
suited pins had been determined, subsequent units would have been the same.
From Pin side of Jack, orientated with both rows at the bottom, the DB25 pin
numbers are:
X,2,4,X colors on this device - Blk, Grn
X,3,25,X Red, Yel
It is wired directly from the DB25M to an 8Pin Jack stuffed as 4 pin.
By letting the list know the result, it would make it of record for anyone
else in the future - took me a long time to find it.

I appreciate your efforts in finding that pinout and it may very
well help out others that have the same version that you have.
The way you specified the pinout makes it easy for someone to make
up a new cable!
I had a chance to checkout my EPROM emulator and unfortunately
it does use a different cable. Mine has a 6 pin modular connector
on the board. Below are links to pictures of my emulator and of the
instruction sheet:

If you or anyone else happens to find the pinout for this emulator
please let me know!
Thank You,
Robert
