Can the BS2p perform any other operations while executing a pulsout command or
does it function in the same way as a pause instruction?

executing that instruction and nothing else happens until the
instruction completes. If you need to generate pulses asynchronously,

Once you execute a PULSOUT (or any Stamp command) it concentrates on executing
that instruction and nothing else happens until the instruction completes. If
