BoeBot Speech Board

I have accidentally erased the pre-recorded contents of the Boe-Bot
Speech Board-27975! Can anybody tell me the steps I need to go
through to get it back? I've downloaded Quadravox QV300s2 and some
zip files that look like the right vocabulary, but all I get is
static from the speaker when I try load it.

I'd appreciate any help anyone could give me who's seen this before.
Thanks,
Courtney

It's is very easy (too easy) to erase the pre-recorded sounds.

To re-record, make sure the Recording Mode switch is set to RS232
    (to the right).

Plug the Line Out or Mic Out (whichever produces better sound) from
your computer to the Record In jack.

Load the Project File into QV300S2, and then record the sounds.

Unfortunately, the ROBOT.ZIP file from Quadravox doesn't contain all
of the pre-recorded sounds. You'll need to grab some WAV's from
another archive (mostly the number sounds).

Make sure the order of files in the Project matches the CONSTANTS
    defined in the source code.

Parallax needs to make the pre-recorded sounds and project file
    available for downloading (hint).
