Sure. The MSCOMM control is the trick. Go to Project | Components and
you should be able to load it into your project.

Have a look here: http://www.al-williams.com/npdaqax.htm (this is made
to work with our NetPorter DAQ, but will actually work with a Stamp etc.
if you format the data correctly) and also look at http://www.lvr.com
