SMS and STAMP

Hi Stampers,

here is a rather strange question: I would like to connect a mobile phone to
a stamp. The stamp is supposed to "read" the contents of any short message
that is sent to that mobile.
Does anyone have an idea? Are there, if it doesn't work with a stamp, any
PC-programms that can do that?

Thanks for any suggestion,

Uli

Yes, I'm in USA, but have no idea what type of cell phones we have here.
There are phones that do text messaging, etc.

I was mainly just curious what SMS stood for.

SMS sounds like it could be neat for a stamp related project.

There was an article in this morning's paper about a guy getting fired from
work via SMS -- in the article they said it was a wireless messaging method
which sends text messages 120 characters or less in length.
