problems interfacing a unl2003

hi,
I was trying to interface a parallel port to signal different changes
for the BS2.
each line would change an input on the stamp.
the interface board I made has a darlinton and 5V and 12V from the PC.
the parallel port output is ground and not 5V.
it seems the darlington need needs the signal to go high, but since
it is switching the ground in the PC I am not getting any response.
Since I already have the board made, I'd like to use it.
any ideas ?

will detect a high or a low from the 2003. You can tell the Stamp to do
something if the input is low or something else if the input is high.

a review of the circuit and the parallel outputs worked.
seems I musta done somehting wrong on the PC end.
Sometimes it takes 6 checks to figure things out.
Thanks again.
