There was a bit of discussion about this hopefully soon to be released
beast back in mid-january...
Any news?

All that was mentioned then was that:
1. It's pin compatible with BS2 models
2. It's faster than the Bs2p
3. It runs a more updated and advanced PBASIC than the Pbasic 2.5 the
latest IDE allows.
The first point was no surprise, and the second...
The only model with lower speed than the predecessors is the BS2pe which
has been slowed down to save power.
(In other words: a feature, not a flaw :-)
There must be something you can tell us, like power requirements, what
the IO pins can sink/source. Things like that...

it had 32 bit signed integers, working signed integer divide, some floating
point support, and 1K of variable space instead of 26 bytes...
