I2C devices adressing

How do i differ the the IC address on the I2C buss,
do i have to wire each IC with a different address, or are they
preprogrammed insided, i know i got a lot to learn about I2C, but i
want to used an 24LC32 and a PCF8583 imidiately on my robot

    Almost all I2C devices have external address pins. You set the address by
    the logic levels on the address pins. The specifications for your parts are
    easily attainable -- download them from the net and read them, you'll find
    all the information you need.
