Hi all, here the translations you asked for:
"Schaltung" means circuit or circuitry
"beschalten" means hooking up or wiring.

but are American born (in their 80's, now). I attempted to learn German in
High School, too many years ago to admit, but since the school books are in
Hoch Deutsche, and my folks spoke only the low version, I didn't get much
practice. Since then I have found I have no affinity for languages I don't
use daily, and my German stinks. I appreciate all the education I can get.
