I am looking for cool robot sounds that the stamp can make. Has anyone
created something they would like to share?

I too have been keeping my eyes open in the groups for
years now looking for anyone who has dabbled in sound
fx on a microcontroller, but you're the first person I
have seen bring it up. I would like to get some fx
    myself.

In particular, I always wondered how they created the
effects used on Star Trek TNG for the computer
    consoles, etc.

I have a BS2 program that someone posted a long time ago that has the stamp
make R2D2 sounds with a piezo speaker/buzzer... anyone interested?

    Yes, I would be interested.

I would think with all the robots that are built with the stamps there would
be lots of sound examples out there.

I uploaded the file to the list's file section under the name 'R2D2.bs2'.

The files section of this list is at
    http://groups.yahoo.com/group/basicstamps/files/

    Just look for 'R2D2.bs2'.

    Tim:

    Enter the URL http://groups.yahoo.com/group/beam/files
in your browser. The page displayed will tell you you are not logged in, or
not a member of this group. You will need to bookmark that URL, then go sign
up (no charge) for a yahoo account. Sign in with you new account at
http://groups.yahoo.com and go back to the URL above (after you get to the
main page, you can just edit the URL in your browsers location window, if
you know how), and sign up in the beam group. Then click on the files tab on
the left side of the page, and you should see the r2d2.bs2 file. Left click,
"save link as" and put it wherever you want to keep it.

If you have Q's, just pop back here and ask.

    Mike

Is there a place I can see the code? I do not have a BoEBot.

You can download the software that comes with the Audio Amplifier AppMod for
a demonstration of sound effects that can be created with the BASIC Stamp.
