Wireless control of SSC

Hi,
I would like to start a few wireless control projects soon and was wondering
presumably that it is possible to drive a mini serial servo controller #
27912 directly from a RF reciever # 27995. The BS2 would be sending serial
data to the RF transmitter. Any tips or experiences of wireless control of
this type would also be welcomed and appreciated.
Regards
Stuart

The SSC you're taking about takes 3 wires, right? (Serin, Serout, Gnd?)
What you suggest should be possible, esp. with some of the "radio modems"
that are around, like the 9XStream and 24XStream radios from
    http://www.maxstream.com. These basically work like a straight-through
RS-232 cable. Put data in one end, it comes out the other the same way. Plus
all kinds of error checking, advanced checksums, etc. Google around, there
are lots of radios like this around that would work for your application.

Depending on the range required, Bluetooth has some advantages, plus a
    useful development kit from Nokia.
