Hey everyone!
I just have a question that im sure is very simple to a lot of you
all out there, but I cannot find any documentation. I need to know
how to hook up a BS2SX to a max232 or max232A chip. I think that i
have to use some caps and things but i cannot find any schematics or
diagrams or even literature telling me exactly what it is that i
have to do. If someone could tell me or show me how to hook the two
up i would really appreciate it! Thanks!!

board space. Connect the BS2 pins directly to the 233 for Tx and Rx.

Just a reminder, we [Parallax] have bunch of Stamp-related docs available
that you can download at no charge. A few minutes spent on our site might
save you hours of frustration or waiting on answers here....

They should have a PDF download with the details.

they can sell you which have the correct hook-up
built-in. They can also sell you the parts
(DB-9, capacitors) you'll need.
See 'Components', 'Easy Modules' for kits.
See 'Components', 'PC Boards' for bare board.
