3.5 day Robotics Course in Carbondale, IL

Hey group,
In case you are in the Illinois region, Marty Hebel is hosting a
multi-day robotics class for high school students. Parallax is
sponsoring the camp with low-cost Boe-Bots. I think it's a fantastic
opportunity so I'm sharing it with the newsgroups.

My camp is a 3.5 day course on Robotics, including BS2 programming,
using the BoeBot, and looking at higher robotic control systems (driving
those wheel chair motors!).
It's a day-camp for HS students, July 28-July 31 at SIU. Cost is $200
and INCLUDES a beoBot to take home, and lunches (oh, by the way, still
looking for business sponsors to cover some of the costs).
I'm not sure how far from Carbondale, IL you are, but our department of
continuing ed. that administers these camps may have a overnight camp at
the same time and be able to find dorm space, though I don't know how
much it would cost. Or I'd be happy to pick him up from a motel daily
if you feel he is mature enough.
