Even opening a MS-DOS shell and making use of the "time" and "date"
commands should work.

I don't know I think maybe my battery is ok I set the time ok? I'm very
sorry for being rude if I was. I'm just so tired of people talking about
it and there isn't a thing I can do if my motherboards battery is dead. I
mean ya I can go out and buy one but... for one thing I don't even
drive... it would cost me like 5 dollars in gas to go buy a battery thats
probably like 1 dollar. Thats after I pay someone to take me there. It
would cost close to 5 in bus fair as well. Sorry hopefully it will be
    fixed.

Haven't been following this thread but from this message, looks you are in dire
need of a bios backup battery for
you computer. Clip the old one out, check the voltage on it, wire in a couple
    of "AA",or whatever you have,
batteries temporarily till you can get the proper one. Have had to do the same
thing myself and it worked great.

One of my friends is gonna show me the values of resistors to just split
off a power cable from my power supply I won't ever need one. He uses the
second floppy power cable one (the smaller).
