Reference the broken pins.
The old saying is a ounce or prevention is worth a pound of cure.
Before you break a pin, put the stamp in a "open frame machine pin
collet ic socket". Ie mouser 535-24-3518-10 page 254 cat 610. It is by
aries. $.81 each.
When you want to pull out a stamp, pull out the machine socket instead,
leaving the stamp in the machine collet socket. The machine colet socket
pins are usually much stonger.
Parallax, i suggest you put this as a note with each stamp sold. Also
include them in your catalog so they can be ordered with the stamp.
I am sure samtec also makes this type of socket.

Thanks for taking the time to write to the list with your suggestion
relating to the broken pins. We appreciate the feedback.
We have some experience with those particular sockets. One drawback is
that the sockets are large and may bend the board sockets to the point
that nothing will fit tightly after a short time. As my Grandpa would
always say "nothing is foolproof." We aren't planning to carry the
sockets but I think it would be appropriate to provide a link to the
suppliers so customers are aware of this option.
Sincerely,
Erik Wood
