OK, guys, now my robot wander in my house, i got a small problem, my
stamp program is very touchy as far as timing, i cant add any
function, they servos motor dont run smooth anymore, so i figure i
need a coprocessor, i'm i right?. If so which one do you recommand,
and why, i'm the new guy on the block as far as stamp programming,
but got over 20 years of experience in robot AI.
so i'm anxous to read your feedback
thanks
John
ps: is anybody interrested in pictures of JORO2 i can download some
on this site

extremely easy to interface to the stamp, you can control up to 8 servos
with on board or daisy chain a couple of the boards together for more
servos. Have a look at http://www.seetron.com/ssc.htm for more information.
It's not the cheapest controller on the block but it does it's job well from
what I've seen.

don't need all 8 channels you can use others for other pulse output jobs
including high-resolution PWM. http://www.al-williams.com/pak8.htm

difference in what my BOT can do now. I've only been working on it
off and on for about a month or two now but it is able to wander all
over the house and rarely gets in trouble. The PAK VIII is amazingly
easy to use, especially with the software that you can download from
the AWC site. With the PAK VIII I can really fine tune the obstacle
avoidance system since it leaves so much processing time available.
I am very interested to hear your specs on "JORO2".
