Hi,
Is there a table/chart which helps find out how many ms each
instruction takes to execute (on the BASIC stamp SX)?
For timing critical applications how does one calculate individual
instruction speeds(atleast roughly)

    http://www.emesys.com/BS2speed.htm

This site has a table, and explains the method used.

I got this reference from the group by going to
'Search', and entering "Execution Speed". There
is a list of 15 entries on execution speed.
For any subject, I kindly recommend a keyword
    search before asking the question.

Not a problem ("there are no bad questions").
