Hello Stampers,
Can anyone point me to info on driving a graphic lcd or led display with a
stamp. A serial type would be ideal, but any information would be
appreciated.

Thanks...

hmm... I'd have a look at http://www.seetron.com/ they have a couple serial
graphic displays and some exambles on how to use them. Theres also
http://www.matrixorbital.com/ they have a few more serial graphics display
as well. Each company usualy has there own commands for interface displays,
so generaly theres no one generic way to interface to serial displays. I
personal would recommend against using a parallel display.

Also check out parallax's site they have some examples on how to interface
to a LCD, though I don't think there is any for graphical ones...

If you interested in driving an LED display, you could pick up one of those
LED message signs and interface serial into that... someone posted info how
to interface into a BETABright sign a long time ago, I have a copy of the
source code he posted if your interested?

    Chris,

If you don't want to bog down your Basic Stamp by generating all the
LCD signals for a graphic display, then I would take a look at
    Parallax's new graphic display product:
