I am new to basic stamp and am wanting to use stamp to gather rpm and
speed data and send data to bob3 video driver for video overlay
during racing-am looking at pulsin and count and need help--would
like to use pulsin but count the master oscillator for a number of
input pulse cycles to get better accuracy--ideas? bob

BOB3 device is good, but the character set with the intuitive device is
smaller and sharper. BOB gives you colors and some other features, but is
VERY sensitive to noise. GNDs are needed and must be set perfectly. Here's
