the RPG pads and COBOL coding sheets when the winds of change blow
through), the old TI "Silent 700" thermal terminal (which got me away from
my "80 column mind"), the Trash-80 Model 1 and model 100, the
Timex-Sinclair ZX-81, Commodore VIC-20, Interact Z80, a Bally Astrocade
that's never been out of the box, a TI 99/4a, Commodore 64 and 128, Amiga
1000 and 500 and 2000, etc., etc., etc...

program storage. The tapes would stretch, wow and flutter would come into
play, and a week after you saved a program it was unusable on the tape.

could have a copy of a friends games. Had a friend who worked for Tandy and
he fixed up my TRS-80 to run both level I and level II Basic and use upper
and lower case text. I was thrilled when I got my first PC with 256k of
memory and two 5 1/4 floppies.
I was digging in my Smile pile and found an old pong game Radio Shack sold
way back when. Need to see if it still works.

How about a Kim 1. Mine still works. Kansas City Standard for that tape
interface. More reliable than my Model 1 for the tape I/O.
