Does anybody know if there are ZIF sockets available that would fit
the BS2?

    I use a 24 pin LIF socket I found at HSC electronics. They are cheaper than
    ZIF, but somewhat larger.

    Jameco [noparse][[/noparse] http://www.jameco.com/ ] appears to have them as part number 104002
    and lists a price of $ 8.49 USD.

    I use Textool ZIF sockets such as DigiKey part no 3M2402-ND ($17.04)
    These are expensive but of excellent quality.
