Sharp GP2D02 Diode

I managed to lose the diode I recieved with my GP2D02 order from
Acroname. Looking through their website, I didn't find the type of
diode they send with their kits. Does anyone have this sensor and
can you tell me which diode it is? I'd like to buy a replacement
locally.

I looked for the spec sheet, but can't seem to find it. I *think* its a
1N914 -- these are very common and Radio Shack sells them by the ton.

Looks like the GP2D02 may be discontinued. I found Sharp's site and it says
"Please use GP2D12 or GP2Y0A21YK."

I think it is a simple 1N4004 or a 1N914.
I have the sensors as well.
