Repairing a buggered stamp

Like many poeple who have played with stamps, I have buggered more
than I choose to admit to, so when I saw a thread on replacing the
processor IC I thought I would give it a go.
I was quite daunted by the the process, not wanting to overheat the
board with the heat gun then the obvious soldering difficulty.
Well, as it turned out, neither was very hard at all, the whole
process taking about five minutes, and worked first time. Now I have
more basic stamps than I know what to do with!!
Thanks group, you have saved me a packet!!
Regards,
Dwain.
