You can get the documentation about the CMU CAM directly from Carnegie
Mellon Univ at

http://www-2.cs.cmu.edu/~cmucam/

There you can find all the manuals and the Java interface. I'm currently
using the CMU CAM to find and direct a bot toward an IR target. My students
and I have a goal of a 2v2 Robocup entry with a combined Mindstorms and
Boe-Bot entry.

Subject:

Does anyone know where the GUI interface for the live video feed that
was on the old Parallax site went? I am looking for a way to display
the image from CMU cam on the BoeBot onto a PC screen, with ideals of
doing remote location control later on. Eventually, I intend to
transmit the image over distances using the video transmitter but I
just need to know how to get it to display directly right now. There
is some documentation about a dump frame command but I'm not sure how
to view the image that is dumped via the serial port onto a computer.
