Basic stamp 2 sx and magnetic stripe card reader

Hi everybody,
I need some help with interfacing TTL magnetic card reader to Basic
Stamp 2sx.
The speed of data output from the reader is about 3000 bit/sec.
Does anybody know if this is too fast for BS2 SX?
The reader has 3 outputs: CLOCK, DATA, CARD PRESENT.
If you have any experience with BS2 and card readers please reply to
