check the files section here for stampbc_122.tgz

It is a stamp basic compiler I developped myself (based on the
Parallax tokeizer lib). It is working very well on my SuSE 8.0, I am
doing all my stamp work with it today. However, I could not test
stampbc on other systems than my own - I would be glad if it works on
yours.

don't forget to setup your serial interface appropriately:
stty -F /dev/ttyS0 9600 raw -echo -hupcl

check the docu from the tar ball. Pls contact me for any questions.

hope this helps

I am not the person who asked the original question, but I too was
looking. So thank you very much. That is just what I needed.

I am happy to report that it runs fine on both Mandrake Linux 9.0 and
Slackware 8.1. [I am turning an old NEC 75 MHz Pentium laptop into a
monitor for my well.]
