Hello Everyone,
Does anyone has resources regarding thermal paper (fax paper)
printers that can be used to print data sent from a BS2? has anyone
succeded doing so? What printers would you recommend that are low
manteinance, low cost and easy to plug to de BS2?
thanx...
I also need info on any IC or final product that converts RS 485 Data
(from 16 machines) into RS 232 data.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely
Juan Pablo Angulo

I bought a Sipix A6 Pocket Printer from Staples a while back. I have not had
a chance to try it with a atamp, but it is a serial printer (also IR) and
should work well. They currently sell for around $60 on the 'net. Perhaps
some on Ebay, but haven't checked there. I bought mine for use with
microcontrollers. Can't comment on RS485 to RS232 converter.

Look for "point of sale" printers. Epson comes to mind.

Check with BB Elelctronics <http://www.bb-elec.com/>
They make excellent devices at reasonable cost and have been around for
about as long as I can remember.
