Decoding Radiosonde tones

I am trying to decode the signal from a surplus Radiosonde (RS80-15N)
for use in a weather station. The signal consists of a string of 6
audio tone bursts (250 ms) that repeat every 1.5 seconds. I am using
the PULSEIN function on a BS2. Although PULSEIN works well, a few
tones get left out (approx 1 every 25 bursts), most likely because
the synchornization is off.

Question: Since there is no IRQ on the BS2, is there a way of
ensuring consistent synchronization of the input signal?

Thanks

Is there a sync tone? if so then put a pulsin in a loop and
look for the sycn then read the rest of the tones.

    Larry

Thanks for the advice. Your suggestion is excellent.

However, I believe that four of the tone (Press, Temp1, R.H. and Temp2) can
vary within the range set between the High ref (K1) tone and the Low ref.
tone (K2). If per change one of the signals goes up or down to the either
endpoint, the algorithm could generate a false sync. On the other hand if
this should occur, it would be at the extreme operating range of the sensors
(T=-90C or +60 C) as far as weather conditions go.
