Max -

You may want to check this web site and check out all the nifty infrared TX
and RX devices they offer: http://www.rentron.com/

If you need any assistance with anything there, I'm sure Bruce Reynolds
will be happy to help.

Just as an aside, please use both upper and lower case in your messaging.
In message list circles all caps is considered shouting, and I'm sure you
didn't mean that with your message.

Hope that gets you started.

Regards,

Bruce Bates

Take a look at the Tx-IR chip, the TSAL6100 IR LED and the PNA detector at
www.rentron.com. Have one installed and it works beautifully. Chip
generates IR frequency so it doesn't tie up a Stamp I/O port.

We have a new product called the IR Buddy that will let you send data back
and forth between two Stamps. It comes in a pair with BASIC Stamp
documentation and source code ready to run.
