0 to 10 volt control

Does anybody know of a chip or a card that receives
serial data as an input and outputs a 0 to 10 volt
signal? Many of the industrial control systems on the
market have a 0 to 10 volt input for reference. I am
using a BS2P40 module and I am wanting to control a
conveyor that uses 0 to 10 volts as a speed reference.

But I'd probably use a Maxim Dallas DS2890 1-Wire Digital Potentiometer with
the Basic Stamp as
a first try at this. The DS2890 can have 256 increments or steps between
0-10 volts.
So it would likely work well for this purpose.
Also from Dallas Maxim the MAX543 or MAX526 or MAX508 or MAX5264 or MAX5839
or MAX7847 are other DAC chips that might work for this as well. But some of
these may require TTL to CMOS level translation chips to work at the higher
voltages.

I used it to control the speed of a Flame Cutting machine that cuts 3 inch
steel into strips.
I think the conveyor application is easily doable with the Stamp.
When I get into the office on Tuesday I will send a sample of the code used.
I did not use Serial Input for the data, just a speed pot controlled by the
operator. This controlled a 2 axis Rack and Pinion, DC Drive.
Thanks,
