stamp II price

Hello: I want to buy 2 more stamp II controllers. I have found
http://www.hvwtech.com
as having a price of $39.95 but they are located in Canada. I am in the US.
Does anyone else know of a company selling stamps for a similar price?
It seems kind of silly for me to order from a company outside the USA if I
do not need to. I do not want to get burned by some import duty tax. There
are no robotics clubs in my area, so I cannot take advantage of Parallax's
discount for robot clubs.
Thankyou

HVW does offer a less expensive "OEM" version, but it has no Vdd
capability. Peter Andersen also has a Stamp "clone". The best bet
is to buy the Stamp OEM version from Parallax. The main reason is
support, support, support... if you have a problem, Parallax is
the "gold standard" for customer service!

Look again, according to the spec sheet it is a true OEM stampII on a 24pin dip.
I am guessing they just bought a huge quantity from Parallax and are giving
some of that savings to the customer. I gave up on peter andersons stamp
clone it would not drive servos, and I could never figure out why.

I have purchased a stamp II from HVW...
I am very pleased with the product.
I find that they provide a very good quality/price ratio.

I did look again... I think we are both looking at different
products. I was referring to the Stamp Stack II product. This is
similar to the Stamp OEM product, but it does not have a voltage
regulator that you can access. It is only available for the Stamp
    Stack II.

I have found the Stamp Stack II to be the least costly, but it is
much larger than a 24 pin dip.

Steve: I see,yes the stamp stack has no external voltage and a low amperag
regulator. 350MAH I think I read. I was refering to the 24 pin dip module
from HVWtech. I dont know how they can offer it at $39 when all other US
    companys want $49? Oh well.
I will order a pair of them soon.
