I still can't get the stamp editor program to recognize the stamps via my
USB to serial adapter. The adapter works great with my Palm Pilot synching
to Outlook.
Anybody using a USB to serial adapter under windows XP successfully? Any
hints for me?

Make sure the palm pilot "Hotsync" is disabled when
you are not using it. Look in the lower right corner
and see if the icon for the hotsync manager is
running, if so then you need to tell it to run only
when you run the palm desktop or the hotsync manager.
The hotsync manager ties up the serial port when you
use it and then you can not use the serial port for
anything else. I had to do that with my computer and
then the Basic stamp worked perfectly.
I hope that takes care of your problem.
Than you and have a nice day!!
